I am beginning to develop that itch. I never scratch it. I apply apple cider vinger, its the only vinger that heals. It removes that burn. I also use coconut oil. Both are organic for the greatest healing effect. I have heard its bike rising just beneath the surface of the skin so rinsing off can even cool it. The better one's diet, the less the itch, remember its caused from bile that is not leaving our bodies. Good luck.

Coconut often works for me too 😀

It may be due to an excess of bile salts in which case it needs a doctor to check his bilirubin levels and possibly prescribe ursodeoxycholic acid

I suffer with itching too it drives you crazy!! my consultant prescribed Colestyramine Powders it's a bile binder which flushes bile out of the system. You have to be careful to take medication a while before because it can interfere with it. It seems to be working so far.

just read your post. As others have said itching prob due to liver not copeing with toxins. I suffered terribly it drove me potty. Now 90 per cent better, what worked for me was diet change out went prosessed foods drinking plenty of fluids I sip one and half litres of water with fresh lemon juice daily on top of coffee ect to flush out toxins. Also try to rub not scratch, I was raw on stomach and bathing in Epsom salt bath to pull toxins out of skin as well as rinsing skin in shower def helps. now itching a lot less. also trying not to overload liver by eating little but often, certain foods def set me off but the keep flushing liver with water was big help. keep us all posted. And thanks having said all that reading your post has set me off! off to the shower it is then! all my best tillycindy.
