I have never put anything up on this site but read continously. I joined due to my problem with alcohol but recently one of my parents has had problems with jaundice which has turned into Pancreatic Cancer. All that aside I find that through the internet you are and always will be the strongest person I have met in internet terms. You and OH have fought this long and hard and I feel ashamed I didn't have the will power to stop drinking. I truly wish you and OH all the luck and love in the world and feel that YOU have made me turn a corner. I do not say that lightly. You are in my prayers and thoughts going forward.
Life throws many curve balls, I pray you have the strength in your arm's and hands to catch them.
May the volume of our prayers be loud enough for the big man to hear.
hopeing and knowing it will be alright blessings to you and yours ricky
All our thoughts are with you
A candle a prayers are being said today in out local church

They have left the wound open as the pressure will cause clot - will wait till swelling is down and then stitch it up post 48hours. There is a fine balance itu are working to get - clotting and bleeding - also to check that the ducts and arteries are all ticking fine...
I will keep you posted - but for now... 😄
Pear
That's fantastic news Pear. Really pleased for you both. Life really does throw stuff at us but we cope. When I am in your situation (we've all been there at some time) I focus on the time we will sit and have a chuckle about what we've been through. My husband has been through the liver transplant and a stroke earlier this year (he is now partially sighted) but we live life to the full! Every moment is too short to waste.
I hope that very soon you will both have the opportunity to chat and chuckle about this blip and move on with your lives.
You are always in my thoughts. Hang in there.
Dearest pear
I have only just seen you post and updates
It unbelievable how much your OH and you have been through
My thoughts and prayers are always with you both
You are amazing and so supportive I'm not sure that everyone could do what you do
Which makes you unquie and brave and your OH must be very special to
Sending lots of love

Dear Pear
What an amazing man you have there. The medical professionals can only do so much, the patient has to do the rest. He is a trooper and with you and the children right behind him he is blessed. Cyber hugs and positive prayers for you & yours.
