Just a quick one, but I received a phone call from Leeds hospital yesterday i have been invited in for my formal transplant assessment on the 6th October had my last test done at MRI yesterday a heart bubble scan, all tests are good and I would be fit enough for the transplant. Just got to find out what my overall score is 😄

It's funny how all the different TP centre's do these assessment so differently, Edinburgh does everything in 4 or 5 days and gives you the result on the Friday - others seem to string the process out for ages.

Anyway, best wishes with this next stage and hopefully you go full steam ahead for listing and a happy outcome.

Its been a bit of a joke with mine to be honest they lost my notes at Leeds. It was only through my local consultant applying pressure and expressing his disgust at the loss that it got moving again. But thank god its back on track. And thanks very much Katie x

I had my assessment and transplant at Leeds. As I recall most of it was done over a period of 4 days. Don't know if it was normal or not but scores were never mentioned to me back in 2006.
