PBC and nausea

I have been feeling nauseous for the last couple of weeks, constantly, I can eat small amounts and am not feeling 'ill' just constantly uncomfortable. This has made my fatigue considerably worse and some days are sooo difficult to get through.

Any advice, should I see my gastro man or GP?

Thanks

There's a number of things that could make you nauseous:

Are you bloated, is your abdomen swollen (fluid?) that could be pressing on your stomach.

Is your liver or spleen enlarged, could cause feeling of fullness, press on other organs.

Are you constipated? Could make you feel sick or full

Are there certain foods that make it worse - fatty foods, gluten foods?

Are your bloods normal? Do you have high bilirubin, can make you queasy or jaundiced.

What was your appetite like before this? What is your diet like?

How advanced is your liver damage, do you have fibrosis or cirrhosis.

Are you on medication, some like Azathioprine for AIH and Urso for PBC have side effects that make people feel sick.

Any of these strike a chord?
