I watched it on Good Morning Britain yesterday. I don't run in crowded places anyway and when out on Monday up the cycle path , which was a bit busier than normal . We all managed to give each other the space needed . Think its just about consideration for others 😊👍

I agree!

I run in a park, though sometimes people come close to me. Mostly because THEY are inconsiderate and refuse to walk behind each other instead of next to each other. But in general I can keep a bit of distance and I think this is sufficient in the open air?

Honestly I tried running with a facemask 1 time, but I wear glasses. I couldn't see anymore where I was running, because my glasses always fog over outdoors. And without glasses, well I have -7.5 of strength, so you can imagine what that would be like. I have tried contact lenses and I have some still, but my eyes get quickly irritated. I used to wear contact lenses in my youth, but after X years my eyes can't handle it anymore. And I'm too chicken to go for an operation.

I agree, I've lost count of the number of times I've had to squeeze past a line of 2 or 3 people. I must admit I do run past thinking 'well you're in more danger from my breathing than I am from yours'.

If I have to run past people I give them as much space as I can and look away.

We tend to run wide of people and pull our buffs up if there’s a group which is better than nothing, cyclists who whizz past from behind are more of a nuisance where there are clear no cycling signs and nearly brush our arms as they pass, there are so many more people out though, when shops and pubs open i’m sure they will go back there and our routes will become less busy again
