Have signed up for running 50k in Jan, for pancreatis cancer research, and did my first 7k towards the total today. Back running with daughter today, but nice and comfortable, kept the pace slow, 8.02/km average, nice conditions today, bit nippy on warm up, but fine, once running, still in my shorts! π€£
Happy running everyone. π

Sounds like youβve got a plan for Jan! Another 7k on your running journey ππ»ππ» Did 5k on the treadmill today, havenβt ran since the 1st as have felt tired and had headache but felt ok today - nice and gentle for the next week I think
That's a good sign, you were able to do 5k today, all your new fitness/running will help fight that horid virus, i'm guessing schools will now be shut longer, see what boris says tonight. π€
Hey, well done πthis is such a good cause. I am sorry to hear you lost your sister to this dreadful disease..It will give you the impetus to keep going.. I wouldn't be surprised if you reach 50k before the end of the month the way you are going π¦π¦
I'm planning to run 28 miles in February -not quite your distance but you have given me a kick to get back out there after a break from running. Good luck!
