Iβm impressed, as I normally look as red as a tomato after my runs! π€ͺπ€£π€£

Hooray! There you are, both are making it look easy to have just run for 10K ππ
Ah, dont be fooled, picture was from christmas day's 5k, probably looked a bit more puffed today! π₯΅
Haha! Well, I think I took a selfie after the Vitality 10,000 and I looked just fine π. I tend to run longer distances very slowly though - just speed up for the last km.
Dont think i'll be running much faster, as would like to eventualy add some more km's, plus today was a bit too fast maybe, as i'm normaly ok, once over the usual first 10 mins! π€
Definitely take it steady, then. As you get more comfortable with the distance, you will speed up naturally without needing to push it. I start off easy. Takes me about 3K to warm up then I feel my body want to go a bit faster. I let it, but then drop back a bit as I need to. Ebbing and flowing. Works really well for me. Then I speed up for the last km. Exactly the same for 10 miles and HM, a winning formula!
Sounds very sensible, actualy i think it's easier to slow down, when i'm running on my own. π€

I came late to running but I can see how helpful it might have been when I was working full time etc. Itβs a great escape and energiser .The youngsters have it tough right now , itβs not forever I know, but they have had to put hopes and plans on hold and really life should be more carefree at their ages. π€·πΌββοΈ
Still , hereβs to better days ahead π
