What causes stitches.. ?

Finding every run at no matter distance / pace is bothersome..

What's best to get rid of them?

Not sure, but someone said drink plenty of water, keep hydrated, probably other reasons as well.

Hope this is helpful. I don't suffer from stitches and I make sure at least 90 mins has gone since my last food intake and 45 mins to an hour for my last drink. I don't take any fluid below 7 miles and if it's more than that I sip every 2 miles and it's seen me through to long distances.

I remember during c25k Sanjeev saying to make sure you breathe deeply using your belly in order to avoid stitches - I took his advice and I've never suffered from stitches since 🤞 Hope you find something that works for you, they're just so uncomfortable

Breathing deeply also helps to get rid of the stitch during a run.
