Yum! (So why am I still imagining cake? Chocolate cake with sticky gooey chocolate icing? Why is that, baddie?) 🤔😂

The title gave it away, but for a fleeting moment I thought the same.

Thank you BTP. I have just put the burger and chips, pizza slices and chocolate cake back in the fridge and treated myself to a glass of water. Yum !!

Fun fact: 70% of the human brain is water. So keep drinking!

Yours might be but I think mine is made up of a fairly high percentage of chocolate, strangely.

I'm good with hydration but crap with water, I cheat and drink Tesco's flavoured water (Strawberry, or plum & pear), it's the only way for me. Especially here in the South East, water tastes pretty poor unless it's well chilled.

'Land' water tastes vile. On the boat you fill the water tank, it sits there and the chlorine evaporates out of it, and as the days go by it gets more pleasant until it's lovely. I can make a tank of water last for 6 weeks, so generally have nice water most of the time. Have you tried leaving a jug of water on the side overnight?

That's really not my experience of water at sea... 🤔 in fact might even be what put me off water for drinking.

Left out it looks decidedly dodgy in the morning! 🤣 West Sussex is high in lime. Filtration helps but then you lose some of the elements you want too.

No biggie. I'm happy so long as I'm well hydrated. Given I don't drink alcohol or coffee I'm still saving a fortune as it's only 45p/litre.

I have never drunk as much water in my life. I read all the advice when I started running c25k, and there’s no doubt that it keeps everything moving well during a run. I also use a zero tablet the day before a long run and after a run.

In the loo of our local running shop they have a colour chart showing how pee colour indicates your hydration. Even when not running, water really affects every area of your life at work and play.

OMG that sounds evangelical.

I do like a G&T too. 🍸

I agree. I'm much more aware of my hydration now. I spent the first 50 years of my life pretty dehydrated. It definitely makes me more lethargic when I'm not well hydrated.
