I got the early bus into Oxford to cheer on my daughter, who was running the Town & Gown 10k charity race. I'm so proud of her, she's only been running about 7 months and she did it in 1 hour 3.47 minutes.
Then I ran up to Headington, and when I say up, it's all uphill. Morrell Avenue is a long, steepish slog. Did it at a pace of 10min/km, which isn't bad as it was literally almost all uphill.
I've done one other run since I last posted, 2.68k at a pace of 8.02.
Had birthday food at Mr I Don't Snore's parent's place, as it was his dad's 90th.
A strange thing has happened with my Garmin: it has recorded the run on the watch and sent it to Strava, but it hasn't registered on the Connect app on my phone, hence the Strava screenshot.

Sounds like you have haf a good run & a good day π x
What a great day, Flick Well done to your daughter - that's some achievement! You too - uphills are good for us (so they tell me) but flippin' hard work!
Thank you That was the first run where it's been all uphill for 4k, except for about a 1k of flat and 100 yards of downhill, but it was amazing how it just kept lifting my feet. I solved the Garmin problem by synching the watch with Garmin Express on the computer. I love the technology and can't complain most of the time, but when it does stuff up it does it big time! like the couple of times it's lost the satellite and stopped recording the run.
