No personal experience but there is the NHS web site - link below. Hope you are better soon.

Thank you AnneW55. I will look st the link. It may be what I used to 'self diagnose'. I've been to the GP who did bloods, ECG and chest X-ray to rule out anything serious. So now I'm on my own.

Thank you for your good wishes. 😜

Never heard of it and had to look it up. You say self diagnosed.. are you sure you actually have this?

Not sure but as doc has ruled out lots of other stuff I wondered if this was what I have. Apparently it can be brought on by repetitive exercise such as running. 😫That's sort of why I was asking on here. To see if my symptoms were the same as anyone else and then to see what happened. Or what they were advised to do.

Thank you 😊

Doc reckons I have that, and wasn't too concerned, a mild aching in left of chest which goes as soon as it comes, especially when I move and pull my shoulder back, feels muscular, had it some years on occasions, can put some of it down to motorbike accident where I banged my shoulder, and did heavy lifting in my job for many years, lifting fire equipment, but has given me great pecs, which I can flex well!😊

That sounds like what I've got. So thank you (I think 😂) davelinks 👍🏻

Where the majority of the pain is is in two areas where I have had broken ribs ( the most recent last spring when venturing into trail running and not watching for tree roots closely enough- just the three ribs 😫) so I guess it may now hang around - I shall venture back into running and gauge the discomfort from there.

Thanks for the info and keep maintaining those pecs!! 💪🏻 (And biceps😀) .

I can feel it slightly sometimes when running, maybe movement of the arms, but fades away toward the end of the run, it comes on if I do a little bit of lifting or reaching but soon goes away, it doesn't bother me unduly... the running also helps tone the arms and biceps..😉

Thank you davelinks that's very reassuring. I was worried I'd be grounded 😂

Mine is generally quite mild and although I haven't run for 3 weeks to see if it went away (it didn't really) I do remember it was quite bad just before New but I did a Parkrun I wanted to do and it went away completely for a day or two. So no excuse now really. 😜

Thanks again. I feel better already 👍🏻
