I just have to share. I am buzzing. I did a run today that concentrated on speed. I did a 5km run then a 2km walk then turned the garmin on again to do a 1km fast pace run. I ran as fast as my legs could go and my heart was pounding but I felt strong. I carried on for the full 1km and ended up with a PB. 2 min knocked off my normal pace time. I couldn't keep it up for much longer. I never in my wildest dreams believed I could of run that sort of time for my 1km pace. I am Chuffed, exhausted and extremely happy today. I know everyone here will understand why I have a massive smile on my face today.
