Is it OK to take honey in my case.?

I had a lumpectomy done. Mine was detected in the initial stages. I did not have to undergo Chemotherapy but had 33 radiations and I am on Nolvadex 10 mg twice a day. I feel that my nails keep breaking easily. Its been 1 1/2 yrs now. I feel otherwise great and fit. I do Yoga for 1 hr and very active. Of course there are times I tire quickly too.. I have not been doing yoga since 2 months. I have started taking honey with my tea since 2 weeks if feel I am not gaining weight now. Is honey OK to take..?

Yes, honey is fine. There is no reason it will cause any problem, go ahead.

As for the nails, I do not think it is related to Tamoxifen or any medications.

I had brittle nails n later discovered that I had a vitamin D deficiency.

Check your D3 level with a simple blood test.

If there is a deficiency contact Yr GP n ask him for advice.

Yoga is very essential to be supple especially after the lumpectomy.

I regularly check all my cancer patients for Vit D3 deficiency, and correct it

That's great Dr. Shah. In my speciality we have been crying ourselves horse over Vitamin D for a long time!
