Mere treatment isn't enough...

"I'm bored doing nothing!"

"When are my hair going to grow back?"

"Can't i just lead a normal life?"

"Why don't you let me do simple household?"

These where few questions asked by my mom who, now, is a breast cancer survivor! We had an excellent treatment for her and also very good doctors. But what mattered most, apart from treatment was the positive moral support to her from her family i.e us!

Initially, like every other human being on planet, we where scared for her.. but we did not let it dwell for long...

Positive attitude, Confidence, moral support and excellent treatment kept her spirits high!!

Let her lead a normal routine life. Let her pursue her hobbies. Involve her in family discussions and chats. Give her gift of hope. Don't make her feel side-tracked. Don't treat her like a sick child.

She is strong, be her strength.

It takes a lot to go through this, don't burden her further. Keep her Happy!!

Treatment will make her fit physically, but her mental fitness is in your hands!!

Love her!!!!

Very very true, HelpingHand.

Moral support is so important, as also keeping them an active part of the family, so they feel 'wanted' and never feel that they are burdening the family.

Let us join hands and pass on such support to many others who don't get it.
