Hi there, my mum has had breast cancer. Recently her esr level were raised 117 and more recently 123. I am so worried she also started having terrible hip and thighs pain about 2 months ago. She can't stand on her legs for long though when lying down she has no pain. Anyone experienced such thing. She is undergoing other tests but I am just so worried. I am afraid that the cancer might have come back. I am hoping and praying it is not the case.

ESR has no bearing with cancer and can be raised in many other conditions, don’t worry about that. As to why she can’t walk, it’s best you show to her doc once. There might be some other issue, related to knee joint or so. Check with your doc.
