Radiation burns

After 25 cycles of 3D crt, the skin around my armpit and under the breast is peeling and oozing. I have applied Regen d 60 gel for the past 2 days but it seems to be getting worse. I can’t keep my arm lowered at all. Is there any other gel/cream I could use? How long for the skin to heal?

Did u talk to your radiation oncologist? I was advised not to apply soap to that area and any creams.

Your experienced Rad Onc would prescribe one of the hundred products available for this.

I prefer

Radiocare or SARODERM

both have good results and help quick healing.

Stay in.touch with Radiation Oncologist...

As if it gets infected..u may additionally need Antibiotic creams as well.

Don't worry u LL come out of this in 1-2 weeks

All the best !

Thanks. The rad onc has prescribed regen since radiocare didn’t seem to work. And I have been put on painkillers. Hopefully now that I have completed the rads I can start healing.
