About Chemo and Radiation

Hello Sir/ Medam

My mom is suffering from Breast cancer stage 2, right side breast. she is 61 yr old. Out of 08 chemo, two have been completed with chemo. At present there is not much side effect seen rather than hair loss.

I Don't Know why doctor tell us the 08 Chemo and 08 Radiation to give her.

He must have seen something in the report. Please sit with your doc and request him to explain why the need of chemo and radiation. If need be, you can also take a second opinion from another Oncologist. Tata Memorial Centre also has a second opinion system.

Don’t upload here. This forum cannot give second opinions, as it needs a very detailed study of he patient. That’s why I told you to ask your doc. He knows better. Or go for a formal second opinion with some other Oncologist or the Tata online opinion system which is very exhaustive.

Giving some opinion based on some single report can be very harmful and hence this forum rules strictly mention against asking for opinions here.
