Hello doctors

In my 3 monthly blood report my platelet counts r slightly elevated since last 2 times I.e 6months. I m on armidex . Herceptin Stopped after 2 years. Rest all tests fine Ca15.3 , vit D n electrolytes. All blood counts TLC slightly elevated. Platelets should be 450 ....mine came out 490 in August n 509 in November.

PET-CT done in October which was clear.

What could b the reason n wat should I do about it?

I am not a doctor but a para medical. Increased platelets count is known as thrombocytosis. Now there are many reasons for this condition. Just get your blood bleeding time and clotting time done. If you find any abnormalities then immediately see your oncologist. If report is normal then also I would advise you to see your oncologist soon.
