Chandraa its very common bcu radiation dehydrated the body also...so it will take little time to feel better, just need to take care of eating habits like everyday fruit, milk, proper meal..etc. and lot of water/fluid..wish u speedy recovery..

It depends on the health of every individual patient. But normally it will take 5 to 6 months

It surely is common for almost all. It's not probably related to radiation, but addition of Radiation to a body already tired with chemo results in additive effect. In addition, age and other factors also contribute to it. It may take a little time to go away, but will definitely reduce over time. There is nothing specific that needs to be done for this weakness. Continue routine, let her have good food.

Also, on your first follow up visit, get her thyroid and Vitamin D3 levels done. Due to some scatter radiation over neck, many people have reduced thyroid hormones in body, which could also be a cause of weakness. So look out for that as well.

Hi chandraa

i had completed my chemo in last july and after that radiation. I still feel weakness or loss of energy. I m told that i will surely go off but i think our normal energy will decrease to some extent.

But yoga and pranayam will definitely help. So if u can try it
