Hi fatehkhan,
This a a fairly common problem with those undergoing chemo.
There are oral anesthetic gels available, which can be applied over the blisters, and that will reduce the pain. They can be applied 5 to 6 times a day or even more, if needed.
Clotrimazole lozenges should also be used (sucked three to four times a day), as there can be chances of fungal infection.
Give her a good pain killer as well, regularly.
Give her food which are bland.
On the right side, on this page, click 'Chemotherapy' and browse through the questions. You will find a similar question and lots of answers to it
Thanks Dr. Shah ..
Pl ensure she takes lots of fluids which will decrease this problem. Now in summer we get lots of fruits which can be taken in juice form such as watermillon .
she can take a graviola as it is mentioned in Net that it can set aside the side effects of chemotheraphy.pl study about graviola fruit cures cancer cells in the internet
All through my chemotherapy days my medical oncologist insisted on a mouth wash which i had to use after every meal and a tablet which I had to chew after the mouthwash. This procedure kept me free of mouth ulcers and throat pain. U should ask your doctor for a prescription and make sure your mom takes those medications regularly.
Thank you guys ... your support means a lot to me ..
napra: Do you remember what was the name of mouth wash and the tablet which you used to take ? That would of great help.. Thank you ..
