Doctor my sister is asked to do 2D echo test - is there any reason for this. Is there any indication of the problem

2D Echo is done to see whether the heart is functioning normal or not. Some chemotherapy drugs (Epirubicin) affect the heart. So 2D Echo is done to see the status of the heart.

hi kontak, i too was made to go through a 2d echo test. not painful nor is it lenghty. as the doctor says it is just to check the functioning of the heart.

Hi napra - you also were on FEC - how many cycles you had. And after that which radiation you had undergone.
