Update!

As you ladies know my Lumpectomy was yesterday, I won't lie it was a pretty intense day ,I was so scared..... but I did it, I at home now resting , I go back to hospital next Friday for the results, and then the next step of treatment .x

Well done on getting over the first hurdle, just think, right now, hopefully, there's no cancer cells in your body, get lots of rest, have little treats and look after yourself xxxxxxx

yay ...very well done ....keep doing the exercises ...i got good news today ....i got discharged from oncology today ...a year after i got diagnosed ,,just got to wait for my annual mammogram in August ....fingers crossed for next stage ....lots of love to you ...enjoy the sunshine Jane xxx

Hi Jane, thanks for checking in on me, yes I'm up and about still a little bit sore, stopped taking the pain relief as I don't like taking it anyway, but don't feel as though I need it, I've just come back from the school run , so driving again now....Yes ready for Friday, but really scared and nervous , it's just the unknown of what the treatment will be, not looking forward to chemo if I need it, but it's got to be done, like you said just want to get this next stage over with ,so I can get back to some normality xxx Vicky xxx

That is good news ....you are crossing the bridges ...very well done ...Friday will be ok at least then you will know exactly whats got to be done ..im going to the breast clinic with a friend ...she is have her first mammogram since her treatment finished on Friday ...mine isn't till August ..take a deep breath ...write everything down ..speak soon ...xxx

Thank you Trumps, yes I have been resting on and off, I will have my results on Friday, and all the info, I'm really nervous, I feel having the Lumpectomy was quite difficult as I'm such an anxious person anyway, and Friday is making my nerves even worse, but I know my treatment is the next step, so onwards and upwards x

Thanks so much for leaving us an update. I'm really glad to hear you got over that hurdle, you're made of tough stuff. Now you know for sure, whatever life throws at you, you can handle it. It's not always easy but you can do it! Wishing you a good result on Friday x

Good luck for tomorrow, no one else seems to have picked up on you driving so soon after surgery, I wasn't allowed to drive until I got my results, due to the anaesthesic and wounds still healing xxxx

Hi Jenny, yes to be honest my head still feels a bit away with the fairies.....but I just wanted to get back to a routine .....I feel Ok, just want to know what treatment I need, not looking forward to Chemotherapy if that's what's needed, do not like the thought of losing my hair.....😣
