Recall letter for mammogram

I just wanted to tell my story here in case it gave some comfort to others.

I had a mammogram three weeks ago and then received a letter last week asking me to go back for further tests . Initially I panicked and had visions of my children losing their parent etc. However, I rallied round and had the appointment today. My mum died from breast cancer at 47, after being diagnosed at 41 so I was very scared about the outcome.

I had my appointment today and although they found calcification, it was the same and non changing as the one they found on my last mammogram. They also found a fluid filled cyst which after draining, came out clear, which they have 99% said its innocent and nothing to worry about as they gave me another mammogram afterwards and there was nothing there. I do still have to wait for a phonecall next week as they have sent it off just to be doubly sure but they assured me if they thought it was anything, they would have asked me to come in for the results face to face but they are happy to ring me about it.

All of my immediate family had important and possibly life changing events today which in itself is weird enough. My husband thinks its coincidence but I don't believe in coincidence.

My daughter had a very important event today, which turned out great. My son had his probation with his employer to see if he would be taken on as permanent, and he was. My ex partner (childrens dad) collapsed with a heart attack yesterday and he was having surgery today for a bypass (we didn't think he would survive the night) and we have just had word that he had a stent put in instead and is doing well.

And of course, my mammogram came back as ok. On top of that, I have been on a waiting list since August last year for a much needed operation and I was told I would be having it in November 2017, that letter never arrived but today, weirdly, that letter arrived, offering me a date in May to have it done.

Like I said, I don't believe in religion but I definitely think something spiritual was happening today for everything that could have gone wrong, to go so right.

What a great story, thank you for sharing!

Religion and faith are two completely different things. I have a strong faith and absolutely believe that God is good! So pleased for your blessings, may they continue. Have a lovely day. X

So glad you’ve had a really great day.

I too believe and know the God of the Bible. And yes He could be trying to get your attention. As you said there is too much happening to just be a huge bunch of coincidences.
