take supplements while having radiation?

Are there any supplements I should take while I am having radiation?

It wasn’t suggested to me that I should. I did have a half-hour consultation with a nurse about preparation for radiation.

Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh veg and fruit.

Do your research because it could depend if you are also taking tamoxifen. I have ILC ER/PR+ HER2- and was not taking any AI during chemo or radiation. I took several including curcumin/turmeric. I found a lot of research (PubMed) on how curcumin can protect healthy cells during radiation. I also took Vitamin D3, 20mg of Melatonin and Turkey Tail Mushroom (3g fruiting bodys) along with few others. I I did not tell my ONC because he would have been very much against it. Previously I showed him a lot of research (not regarding radiation) from MD Anderson, Sloan Kettering, Dana Farber that he dismissed as well. I have since switched Oncs. For my research I only looked at pubmed articles/studies as there is some much stuff on the internet. Also make sure and use the recommended cream, heavy and often. I did 30 sessions of radiation about 11 months ago.
