This is my second post since my introduction a month ago. I am taking Letrazole (2 months) and Kisqali on my second three week cycle. I am experiencing a lot of joint and muscle pain aside from the fatigue which never goes away. Anyone with same symptoms and advice on what can be done. Thanks for the help.

Letrazole and Kisqali
Letrazole is notorious for joint and muscle pain. These symptoms and other side effects might wear off after a few months and if not there are two other drugs in the same family that can be tried. They might have different effects on you - everyone is different in their reactions. There’s not much that can be done other than pain killers, gentle exercise, a good diet, plenty of water.
I’ve been on this, or the others, for seven years now and whilst it’s quite debilitating I do live a happy life. The risk of not taking them is too great at your stage. I’m in consultation with my oncologist to discuss whether, after seven years, I can stop!
If your medical team says you should take then then you must persevere - otherwise there is a big risk of the cancer returning.
Please read the website of the big charities that deal with breast cancer, in the UK these are Macmillan, Cancer Research UK and possibly several others, and they do have interesting information which could help.
Dear Kruza, how are you getting on now with Letrozole? I’ve been taking it since 2019 and at first had lots of aches and pains in my legs but after a few months they went away and it’s tolerated well now. So far so good . I have Zoledronic acid infusions 6 monthly to stop the calcium leakage from my bones , and generally I’m well and happy with the outcome . Good luck ; I hope you can persevere !
Warm wishes
Denise
Dear Kruza no you are not being a big baby. I have been on Letrozole since April 2020 and it was a shock to the system. Like Happyrosie I try to keep active, yoga, pilates, walking as I have found sitting too long makes me ache and also if I sit for too long I can easily fall asleep :-).We cannot stop taking them.
I do find the Zoledronic acid makes me ache and nothing tastes right for a few days. So be assured we are thinking of and here for you.
Best wishes
