Simple trick that helps me remember to take my medication

I take my pills in the morning to avoid side effect at night. I had alarms on my phone, but sometimes I would shut the alarm in the middle of getting ready etc and later in the day I just couldn’t remember if I’ve taken it.

Pretty sure I ended up taking it twice a few times because of that! Better safe than sorry 😬.

So I started writing the day of the month behind the blister pack. Now, no matter how messy my morning is, at the end of the day I know if I missed it.

Hope it helps another messy soul like me!

That’s a brilliant idea, if I don’t take the same time, I then can’t remember later in the day if I have taken or not, so I will try that!

What a Brilliant Idea!

That has to be Tip of The Day!

Do you mind if l share it on my Polymyalgia Forum?

I have one of those pill boxes with a separate section for each day of the week and on a Sunday I put my pills in for the week. If I can’t remember if I’ve taken them one day I just check whether that day’s box is empty.

A lot of us Pill Boxes for our Prednisolone but many of us take other drugs that they don’t want to pop from their blister pack, so for that option it is a very good idea.

I use an “old person’s” pill counter. Then again, I am pretty old so it sort of makes sense. 😊

Haha! I am sure I will invest in one of those at some point.
