A weight has been lifted!

Hi my lovely ladies, had hospital appointment on Friday, and got my results on the Octotype test, and luckily don't require Chemotherapy, my risk of reaccurance is low so , to be honest I'm quite relieved, So next step is Tamoxifen for 5years, and Radiotherapy for 3 weeks, also possibly hormone injection in September, but doctor wants to see how I go with the tablet first, just so glad to start seeing light at the end of the tunnel, thanks for all the advice and encouragment ...xx

I'm really glad for you! I too had low recurrence risk so I only had radiotherapy. For some reason, my doctor wanted me to do the 6 weeks instead of 3, but that's alright. It's behind me now! I am expected to go on tamoxifen for 5 years as well. I will see at my follow-up in September.

All the best!
