Hi im new im sheila breast cancer survivor 2000 found a lump in my right breast... Had chemo and radiation treatment.....dec 27 2017 my breast cancer came back....very heartbreaking to have to fight this fight again......

Hello Ladylibra. My story is similar to yours. I had R breast cancer in 2001. It was swiftly treated with mastectomy and Tamoxifen. I forgot about it until December when I asked for a scan on the L breast. No symptoms but they were pushing for over 70s to have scans (l was 74)

Scans , U/S ,biopsies led to another mastectomy . This time the tumour is Her2+ and I am having Chemo........weekly Taxol for 12 weeks plus Herceptin if they decide it's safe to let me have it.

The Chemo is no fun.....probably because of my age but I am now half way through .

I am anxious that I may not get Herceptin.

Keep your chin up and don't read Google .......I was much calmer last time when I didn't have a computer !

Sorry to hear your bad news Sheila , you must be devastated to say the least ! Stay strong ✊ you beat it before and you can do it again . We,re all behind you wishing you well x

I had mastectomy in July 2017 on my left breast. Dec 2017 mammogram on right breast showed a tiny growth... my oncologist said it is too early to say anything. I wl be going for a mammogram in June... hoping the so called growth is nothing to be alarmed about.
