Hi SebsMum, the nervousness should abate, but I think there will always remain an apprehension. The side effects may increase as the chemo builds up in your system. A handy tip is to count down rather than count up, it feels like it is going a bit quicker eg: 2 down, nearly halfway etc. Little things like that indicating the end of the treatment being in sight helps. Also between chemos on good days treat yourself to something nice, eg a new book, something that you want to add to an interest (strangely enough I developed a liking for the rubik cubes and bought different size and shaped cubes to challenge myself), a walk on the beach if you feel up to it etc. Just little things that help pass the time. Be good to you, you deserve it. All the best with your remaining treatment and here is to an healthy future..Lainey66 xxx

Yes its always a bit nervous leading up to each chemo. It seems to go on forever at the time but it will be over before you know it. Look after yourself and do not hesitate to mention any concerns you may have to the consultant - they can usually give you something to reduce any side effects you may be experiencing. Good luck.
