just had 3rd cycle of chemo and have got a chesty cough keeping me awake at night do cough medicines help or do you go to your G.P any advice welcome.

Do you have an emergency number for someone based at oncology you can ring, otherwise I'd suggest first thing Tuesday ring BCN and/or GP, hopefully it's something that's easily resolved for you x

Thank you Jennymary I think I will ring Tuesday to be on the safe side I have no temperature or chills so that's good.

I Would get back in touch with your oncology liaison nurse who will speak to your oncologist and advise you as you have to be very careful what you take when in chemo. I had an anaphylactic reaction during my treatment and the only thing I had taken out of the ordinary was a strepsil for a sore throat. All the best for the rest of your treatment xxx

Thank Laney66 I know you have to be careful what you take think I will be ringing Tuesday I have no temp or chills so not to worried. I have not drunk coffee for three months has me running to the loo.
