Like Sue-E, I called my cancer 'the squatters' and they had to be evicted as they didn't pay any rent or do any housework, love and hugs to all

You're doing amazingly well and so very quickly. I found after my lumpectomy and node removal that I only needed one dose of paracetamol that night. What I didn't expect was was the degree of tiredness I felt which I'm sure was mainly due to stress and the procedures you go through first. So take it easy and accept any help that comes your way which was the hard bit for me. I wish you well for your next appointment, share your news with us if you can.

Check you ou! This is awesome positivity. You are a super trooper. I find that fatigue is the main obstacle. Let's be fair.... Any excuse to hibernate is good for me. Long may it continue and well done xx.

Would be great if I had known a bit more going into the operation. Likewise I had little pain after mastectomy and clearance, bit of discomfort with a seroma but nothing more than s paracetamol required. even the drains coming out did not hurt. Very pleasantly surprised.

You sound just like me! I started with a lumpectomy but didn't get clear margins so ended up having 2 further goes at it before having mastectomy in October. I have a box full of painkillers I never took! Bounced back really well after very op and healed fine. Have just finished 12 weeks of chemo. Never missed taking the dogs for a walk or the school run. I got very tired towards the end but still managed to take daughter to safari park! It was a necessary evil, the chemo and not as bad as I expected. The chemo nurses were fab, had a good laught every Tuesday and they brought me tea and biscuits! Wishing you lots of luck. Positivity is the key. Keep smiling!
