Hi all I have been diagnosed with chiari Malformation and am in severe pain on an almost daily basis. I am really suffering today with pain in my neck head back legs and arms as well as spasms shooting up my back into my head. Any advice please much appreciated.

I'm so sorry Heather but I know nothing about the condition and can't therefore comment. Perhaps someone else on the forum is better informed and will be along to give you some advice.

Hi Heather29487. My son has Chiari malformation. He’s 23 & we only found out in June. He has just had the decompression surgery to try to relieve the pressure on the brain which has caused him to have a lot of symptoms including bad headaches. The Ann Conroy Trust have a lot of helpful info on their website & a very helpful Helpline that you can ring. Hope this helps though I see your post was 6 months ago.
