Hi I was wondering if anyone has had a person with hypoxic brain injury. My dads been in a coma for 3 months his just started to open his eyes but he just stares has anyone else had this,

Hi stumped it's when the brain is starved of oxygen , Brady's dad and mine have this 😢 Very upsetting xx

Me to I had the same From status epilepticus,was out of it????Over a week my Mum said then stopping mid sentence after being completely mute for along time didn't know what the heck had happened(still don't)Would rather not!!

My husband has this he went in for a new valve on his heart he is 46 and had a cardiac arrest which left him with no oxygen for 25 mins he has been in hospital for 6 weeks on Saturday he is moving a little and opened his eyes after two weeks slow process x

Sorry to hear that about your husband 😕 Yes my dad has been in a coma since 4th August he now just opens his eyes but looks very vague as if he either doesn't focus or no who we are. Does your husband recognise you?
