As above I found a lump in my neck back in February ever since it has grown larger and now has suspicious nodules found in ultrasound scans and fna.

I am due to have surgery soon even though I am pregnant, I would really like to hear peoples stories about life after part removal are you on medication now? What are the side effects? Will I get a thyroid condition because of removal? I don’t want to be worse off and poorly with two young children and one on the way.

I am hoping I won’t need medication as my ENT stated however joining social network thyroid groups and reading what people have been like has made me so worried that I will end up worse off.

Thank you for reading.
