Hello I am looking for abit of advice please? I had sex on Friday and I was wondering how soon I can take a pregnancy test? Thank you.

I came of the contreception about 7 months ago and I've been having regular periods for about 4 months.

Will I be able to get pregnant?

A pregnancy test should be taken on the first day your next period would be due with your first morning wee. You have every chance of getting pregnant. Good luck! X

If your periods are regular for past 4 months and it's been more than 6 months you came off pills - chances are your body resumes to the natural cycle and you have every chance to get pregnant. However, even couples with high fertility quotient may take from 3-9 months of TTC to actually get pregnant. It's best to use OPKs for a cycle or two to check your ovulation window and time your BD accordingly - that surely increase the chance of conceiving. You can take an HPT (pregnancy test) anytime on or after 25CD for clear results.
