8 week scan

Hi I had an early scan (8 weeks) and there is a shadow on the babies head/neck . I wondered if anyone else has this on their scan.

Is the shadow something the sonographer pointed out to you or something you have seen in the picture?Your sonographer would raise any issues with you if they saw anything of concern and scan pictures do normally have lots of dark and light areas on them. Mention it to your midwife if you’re worried as they might be able to put your mind at ease. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! X
