Painful heartburn

Hi, I'm 37 + 2 weeks and I think I've picked up a bug. Yesterday I was really achy, sick and hot. Through the night I've had really bad heartburn, I've never had it painful before. Even sat up it gets me. I've had gaviscon but that was a short relief. I'm going to try and eat little bits today, but any suggestions on how I can relieve it?

Hi,

I had the worst heartburn from 6 weeks pregnant it transpired I was having twins! I lived on gaviscon my entire pregnancy! I literally drank it from the bottle all day and night.

You're doing all the right things!

I've not heard of that before! Will have to try it! I've had some milk too now that I feel better and that seems to have helped
