I have RH neg O neg blood type and I had a miscarriage but never went to hospital fir a shot to prevent my blood from mixing with the embryo if it had a different blood type. What do I need to be concerned about if I wanted to get pregnant again

I have not stumbled to this problem myself, but I read that if mother is Rh- and father is Rh+ then body can see baby as an invador and try to get rid of it and with every next time body might react more severe. Probably best is to do the test on father to know his blood type and Rh and if it differs from yours (+ or -) then make a visit at GP and let them inform you about what's the next to do to have a successful pregnancy.

Hi it depends when the miscarriage occurred. I questioned this and I think the midwife said if the miscarriage occurs before 10 weeks you don't need the injection. Sorry for your loss.
