Ovulation test

Hi, my husband and I are trying for a baby. I was wondering what time of the day is best to do an ovulation test? How reliable are these? Thanks!

I always did mine with my first trip to the toilet in the mornings!

Mine where very reliable as I have a little one & now expecting my second all thanks to following my ovulation!

I used clear blue digital ovulation kits!

I have been using clearblue snce the 17th day of my cycle. Befor I had a cheaper version. So far I am on day 25 and have not had any positive result. I wonder if the cheap version could have not detected the hormone and whether I was actually ovulating between day 1-17 of my cycle.

In my experience I'd ditch the ovulation test. I used the online ovulation calculator. We got pregnant trying on the first day and the last day and not in between because sperm can loose quality over producing. I got pregnant straight away and am 41 this week. Best of luck. This work the time before too.
