hello there. a friend of mine bought morning afters a few hours after having sex, she then drank the pill at 15.12 and was supposed to take the other one at 03.12 but she must've switched off her alarm unconsciously, i dont know but she only woke up just after 05.30 and immediately drank the other pill. should she panic?

Hi there

As long as your friend took the morning after pill within 72 hours then she shouldn't panic. If she is worried then she should take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after the unprotected sex. It might be an idea for your friend to pop down to a contraceptive clinic to talk about finding a regular form of contraception that works for her.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
