hi i'm an older mummy to alfie who is 4.

he was a twin and lost my other to carbon monoxide poisioning whilst 5 months pregnant.

I think i may be pregnant again at 49.

I had two miscarriages before alfie and have had two after...i never knew i could have children..i was with my ex for 19 years..and we had no children.

Hi there- I'm so sorry to hear about all that you've been through, it must have been really hard. Have you taken a pregnancy test to confirm whether or not you are pregnant? Really hope you are doing okay. xxxx

Hi Thankyou Judith for your kind and lovely message.

Was really hard and still is sometimes as he is an identical so i can see what the other one would have look like.

I have taken stick tests but nothing showing up yet..had really bad pains this morning but ok now...fingers crossed..have had all the symptoms of pregnancy but started getting them early which i thought was odd..but after reading up it seems it does happen. If nothing with in the next week i'm going to make a Doctors appointment.

Not at all, always here to chat. It must be so hard for you I really am so sorry but it sounds like you are doing so well. Yes good idea to book a doctors appointment, it might be that you are testing too early that's why it hasn't come up yet. But yes it will be good to see a doctor so they can see what is going on. xx
