ok, so my last period was 1st of august, ovulated around 14th, had sex nearly everyday around that date. I have had sore breasts for 3 days now and apon looking it up it says its ovulation pain.

My question is, isn't it too late for ovulation pain ?

Im 41 so im not expecting to fall pregnant but I cant help but wonder xx

Hi there

In a cycle of 28 days most women will ovulate between day 10-14 of the cycle, but unless the woman knows how predictable her cycle is then this can vary. Your best bet is to take a pregnancy test 21 days after your last unprotected sex of if your next period is late, lighter or shorter than usual. At 41 many women are still fertile unless full menopause has been confirmed (average age is 51), in women under 50 years of age, the menopause is diagnosed after 24 months without a period.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
