I'm writing this for my daughter.

She's been on the mini pill and wasnt very reliable at taking it. The doctor took her off it about 2 months ago. She had a period every 30 days.

Her and her partner had unprotected sex 2 weeks after her period.

She is now 9 days over without a sign of one coming.

She has a metallic taste in her mouth, slight discharge last week, sore boobs, hates the smell of gerkins and loves the taste of dominos tomato sauce, moody as anything, been sick, feels sick, bloated and a headache.

She took a test last week and it was negative......suggestions???

Hi there

There is a possibility that you have done the PT too early. However 9 days overdue the test should show an accurate result. I would suggest that your daughter access a young peoples' clinic and takes another pregnancy test with them, she could also talk through dates etc and maybe start a new contraceptive so as not to be worried again.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
