Wanting a baby.

I had unprotected sex two days after my fertile days started then again a day after my ovulation day I am one day late. So anxious. What are my chances ?! When should I test. I'm hoping my period doesn't start :

As you period is late, you can test today. It's best to test in the morning if possible, but home tests are very accurate. If the test is negative but your period doesn't arrive after a few days, take another test. If this test is negative and you period is still late, just pop down to your GPs or local family planning clinic to have a chat and perhaps a blood test.

I completely understand you must be very anxious. It's impossible to say exactly what your individual chances are of conceiving, but the vast majority of women under forty will conceive after one year of trying. If you have been trying for longer than 12 months, or less time if you have had problems in the past such as an ectopic pregnancy, then you should go for an appointment with your GP just to check there isn't anything else going on which might be affecting your chances of conceiving. The best advice if you are trying to conceive is to try to stay healthy and relaxed, although I know that must be hard, have sex regularly and start taking folic acid for the healthy development of your pregnancy.
