Hi there

Did your doctor tell you to have sex over those three days because of your cycle? I would suggest having regular sex and if you can try to relax and not think about conceiving all the time. It is important for you to stay healthy and start taking folic acid if you are trying for a baby.

To find out if you are pregnant you should wait three weeks after the unprotected sex and then take a pregnancy test. You can get tests for free from your GP or local contraceptive and sexual health clinic (you can find your nearest one here fpa.org.uk/find-a-clinic ). Although you can also buy them from pharmacies, supermarkets and even pound shops.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
