Could you get pregnant if you had unprotected sex TODAY and you forgot to take your pill YEATERDAY but you took two TODAY?

Hello- if you had unprotected sex a day ago you can still take emergency contraception. There are two options either ellaOne which you can take up to 5 days after unprotected sex or the Cooper IUD ( Coil) can be fitted up to 5 days after unprotected sex. You need to visit your GP or local family planning clinic to get these forms of emergency contraception so if you are still worried it might be worth popping down. X

If you are on the combined pill and took your missed pill the next day then yes you will still have had contraceptive cover and it is unlikely you would fall pregnant. There's more information about what to do if you miss a pill from the NHS here:

If you are on the progestogen-only pill (POP), sometimes called the mini pill, then you will be covered if you took your missed pill within three hours of the scheduled time or 12 hours if you are using Cerazette. There is also information from the NHS about missing a progestogen-only pill here, but it might be worth reading the instructions in your pill packet too:
