Not sure what to do...

I didn't want to but had unprotected intercourse on the 22nd November and was given oral contraceptive on the 27th. My period was due about the 12th December. I started having very light spotting on the 13th/14th along with really bad period pain. On the 15th I started having really heavy bleeding and clots. I was still having that today. Now the bleeding is a little like my normal period but it's painful. I just wanted to know if this could be a sign of something more than just a late period and I don't know if the contraception would cause this. Im sorry to ask but I don't want to bother my GP with this unless it's necessary.

Do you know if you took an emergency contraceptive pill called EllaOne? Your symptoms sound like they are the result of that.
