If I'm using a male condom, is it still safe to have sex during fertility time? Ive heard that you can still get pregnant even with condoms...

Hi there

Yes it is safe to use a male condom when you are having sex during your fertile time as are 82% effective. They generally fail if people don’t use them correctly for example if they slip off or if used with oil based products as lubricants, only use water-based ones. Condoms are the only contraception to offer protection against infections and pregnancy. Always check they have a quality mark and are not out-of-date.
