Hi there,

Yes, if you have unprotected sex you can fall pregnant. You can take a test the day from the first day of your missed period. If the test is negative but your period hasn't arrived after a few days, you should take another test. There is more information about taking a pregnancy test online here:

I'm not sure if you were hoping to fall pregnant, but if you do want to avoid conceiving you can use emergency contraception up to 5 days after having sex. We have more information about the different methods and how to access emergency contraception here:
