What are the possibilities of having a normal period and become pregnant?

Could I be?
Hi Mimi,
If you had unprotected sex after having your period, you could become pregnant. However, if you had unprotected sex and then had a normal period when expected, it is extremely unlikely you could be pregnant. However, if your next period is late, shorter or lighter than usual you should take a pregnancy test.
Best wishes,
Katherine
What if I had intercourse during my period and now I'm just spotting? The last time I had sex was on the 18th
Hi there,
It is unlikely that you could have conceived during your period, but not impossible. If you are spotting rather than having your normal period when it is due, you should take a pregnancy test. If the test is negative but you are still concerned, it might be best to pop down to your local family planning clinic or your GPs. They can talk about your dates with you. If you are worried about conceiving and not using a regular, reliable method of contraception they can also discuss your options with you.
I hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Katherine
Chances are great! You can get pregnant on your period and also after your period during ovulation. Also, you can have a period and be pregnant. It is not impossible as many think. Your body is just shedding excess cells in the uterine wall. i hope this helps. Good luck and God bless!
